Welcome to BPAY Nepal. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service (Terms). Please read them carefully before using BPAY Nepal.

• Be a Nepali citizen or have a valid connection to Nepal (e.g., paying bills for family or businesses in Nepal).
• Be currently residing outside of Nepal.
• Be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction).
• Have a valid payment method (local credit or debit card) issued by a licensed financial institution.
• Agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering.

• Pay utility bills, tuition fees, subscriptions, and other supported services in Nepal.
• Recharge mobile phones and purchase data packs for Nepal-based numbers.
• Make online purchases from supported merchants in Nepal.

We are continuously working to expand our services. More features and services will be added in the future, and as the platform grows, transaction fees are expected to decrease.

4. Fees, Charges, and Currency Conversion

• All transactions made through BPAY Nepal are subject to applicable fees, including service fees, transaction processing fees, and currency conversion fees (if applicable).
• Fees vary depending on the payment type, your card issuer, and the currency used.
• All prices will be displayed in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) before checkout.
• At the time of payment, the amount will be converted into your local currency using the current exchange rate provided by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB).
• Exchange rates are updated regularly in accordance with NRB's official rates.
• All applicable fees and the converted amount will be displayed before you confirm your payment.

5. Payment Processing & Security

• We use bank-grade encryption to protect your data.
• Payments are processed securely through CyberSource payment integration powered by Visa.
• We do not store your card information — all payment details are handled securely by Visa's trusted network.
• BPAY Nepal is not responsible for unauthorized access caused by user negligence (e.g., sharing passwords or account details).

6. User Responsibility for Transactions

You are solely responsible for ensuring that all payment details (amount, recipient, account number, etc.) are correct before confirming a transaction. If you make a wrong transaction, BPAY Nepal will make reasonable efforts to assist in recovering the funds by contacting the relevant bank or service provider. However, we cannot guarantee that funds will be recovered, as the final decision rests with the recipient and their financial institution.

7. Refunds

Refunds are subject to the policies of the merchant, service provider, or bank involved in the transaction. BPAY Nepal does not guarantee refunds for completed transactions unless required by law.

8. Prohibited Use

• Fraudulent or illegal activities
• Money laundering or terrorist financing
• Payments that violate applicable laws or regulations

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BPAY Nepal is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. We are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect payment details provided by the user.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately unless otherwise stated.
